Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tavoitteena oli kartoittaa tunnetyön kuormittavuutta suomalaisella terveydenhuoltoalalla. Työn vaatimusten ja voimavarojen mallia (JD-R) hyödyntäen tutkimme, kuinka tunnetyön kuormittavuus työn vaatimustekijänä ja transformationaalinen johtajuus sekä palvelumotivaatio työn voimavaratekijöinä ovat yhteydessä työuupumukseen. This study analyzes the emotional and aesthetic labor of Finnish military officers. It examines the kinds of valuations officers attach to the notion of an ideal soldier. The meanings that officers give to these ideals are explored within the wider framework of post-Fordist new work. The ideal soldier is traditionally considered to be physically capable and strong, rational, and in control—features culturally coded as masculine. An analysis of 108 military officers’ writings and 12 interviews showed that while the traditional masculine ideal still exists, a vast variety of valuations are related to new work. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apskatīt saistības starp emocionālā darba stratēģiju izvēli, emocionālo intelektu un apmierinātību ar darbu apkalpojošās sfēras darbinieku vidū. Pētījumā piedalījās apkalpojošās sfēras darbinieki. Izlases apjoms ir 70 cilvēki, no kuriem 45 ir sievietes, bet 25 vīrieši. Pētījuma dalībnieki ir vecumā no 18 līdz 46 gadiem. Lai sasniegtu pētījumā izvirzīto mērķi, tika izmantotas trīs aptaujas. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to gain insight into the relationships of daily deliberative dissonance acting (DDA) with daily strain and daily work engagement. DDA refers to the deliberate acting of emotions to achieve one's work goals. The authors hypothesized that daily DDA would be positively related to strain through feelings of emotional dissonance.
